NFL QUARTERBACK UPDATE - Ingles

As the NFL season kicks off, quarterbacks will be in the spotlight…whether it’s start No. 1 or 270!

Rookie quarterbacks MARK SANCHEZ of the New York Jets and MATTHEW STAFFORD of the Detroit Lions will make their first NFL starts this Sunday.

Meanwhile, Minnesota Vikings veteran quarterback BRETT FAVRE will start at QB for the 270th consecutive game, believed to be tied for the longest starting streak in NFL history with JIM MARSHALL. (Marshall started 270 games in a row for Minnesota from 1961-79. He played 12 games with Cleveland in 1960, but official records of starters were not kept before 1961.
